It’s honestly so hard to find really good shrimp rolls anywhere in KL and this is what made us fall in love with Grill Haven. Their prawn rolls is to die for!

Original Haven

Juicy homemade beef patty - with perfectly cheese between two fluffy grilled buns! This is the way!

Ultimate Haven

The perfect burger but make it better? Add sweet savoury onions, yolky fried egg and crispy beef bacon.

A Fan of Brisket?

One of the nine primal beef cuts, the brisket packs the right balance of fat and muscle that results in a mouthwatering burst of flavour in your mouth.

Due to its composition, the brisket is quite tricky to make it right but Grill Haven has got this down - perfectly smoked brisket between fluffy buns. Yums!

Yeah, just those three days for now (we’re twisting their arms to open throughout the week).

Grill Haven - The Story

If you've been following us, you'd know that we love to tell stories too.

Like many new businesses, Grill Haven, was born out of necessity for the owner during the pandemic. 

If you came to any of their pop-ups, you'd probably be able to guess from the designs of what industry they were from. Hint: It involves boarding passes. 

Rather than us telling the story,  we got Hafiz - the founder of Grill Haven to give us a bit to tell us a bit more of what, how and why Grill Haven came about and what his plans are for the future. 

Tell Us More About Yourself..

I am an airline pilot and have been working in this line for the past 15 years. I came from FNB family so i know a little bit here and there on how to set up small stall/restaurant.

How Did You Guys Get Started?

It all started when we had the first MCO. I needed to get extra income due to massive paycut - as a pilot. Needed the sustain my family and lifelihood!

Why Burgers & Prawn Rolls?

I love burgers and lobster rolls!! since lobster is hard to get and expensive so we opt for a cheaper and better choice which is prawn.

Where did the recipes come from?

Truth be told - Google, Youtube and my own personal experience cooking at home of course. 

How has it been starting a business in the middle of the pandemic?

It is quite tough because there were so many restrictions (SOPs, roadblocks), shortage of supplies, stall location and manpower. Apart from the restrictions, we're still having the same issues currently too. 

What has been the biggest challenge?

Before being at WOKIT Bangsar and Publika, we were setup in USJ3A, Subang Jaya. I had to open and close the stall daily and cant even leave anything at our spot at the end of the day and stuffed all the tent and tables in my brother's VW Polo. Going through that daily was mentally and physically tiring.

What are the plans going forward?

My plans for Grill Haven is to have our own cafe and pop ups around Klang Valley.

Is WOKIT Subang still open or has it closed for good?

Long story short - Yes, WOKIT SS15 is now closed indefinitely.

Thank You For All Your Support!

Before we get into the why, we would first like to say THANK YOU to everyone that has came and supported us throughout the years in Subang. We’ve met so many awesome people come through our doors and the connections that we’ve made over the years. It has been a pleasure serving all of you.

We’ve learned so many lessons from our experience being in Subang that we can now take with us to conquer the world. We are grateful to all of you, as without you, we wouldn’t have gained this experience either.

We’ve had a good run - but it is now time for us to say goodbye to Subang. 

But Why?!

We’ve tried our best to keep the doors open in Subang, however there comes a time when we just have to be honest with ourselves and admit that it just isn’t working.


If you’ve been following us, you’d know that in 2019 we had actually moved from our full shop in SS15 to a shared space together with Vanilla Mille Crepe Cafe.


When we relocated into Vanilla Mille Crepe (42, Jalan SS15/4, 47500 Subang Jaya)


The idea for the move was that we would:

  1. lower our overheads (savings in rental, utilities and more) and
  2.  we would focus on delivery sales (vs dine-ins). The data seems

We were even featured on BFM Radio for this move!


In hindsight, it was a timely move considering the whole pandemic that hit us all in 2020 - 2021.


Being a delivery-focused restaurant, relying on third-party delivery services, this meant that our margins are pretty low after deducting their commissions (28-30%).


This simply means that for every RM10 of our sale, we would have to pay them RM2.80-RM3, which leaves us with RM7-RM7.20 for every RM10 that we get.


With such low margins, the only thing that could make it work was - VOLUME - and loads of it.


Our fixed costs structure also needed to be low for us to make it.


However, weren’t able to get the volume that we needed and we were still paying the premium rental for our location.


As a comparison, our Bangsar outlet is doing 3-4X times more in deliveries than we were in Subang.


I can go on a long rant as to why weren’t getting the volume - like how our visibility on the 3rd party apps just wasn’t there despite joining campaigns and pouring money on ads, the unpredictable radius coverage and such.


But there’s no point in crying over spoilt milk.


After 4 years of trying to make it work here in Subang, we’ve finally raised the flag and said perhaps this location isn’t what we thought it was going to be for us.

In the end, the numbers speaks for themselves.


At this point in time, we feel that our resources is better spent elsewhere rather than trying hard to make it work here in Subang.

What's Next?

We’re not planning to just sit still after the closure. As mentioned, we are simply re-allocating our resources.


In fact, we’ve already found a new location and have started work on it too.It’s still early to announce it but you would definitely hear about it when things have firmed up even further!

We're back with another edition to our Exhibit series, and today we'll be featuring - Serah Siew. 

What impressed us the most when first met Serah was the fact that not only was she a brilliant artist - she has also turned her art into a successful business!

We first came across Serah at a business event (of all places!) She was presenting her work and also her plans for her art business.

All these while, we've been exposed to those plying their trade more on the digital end (with our previous Exhibit posts) - this was the first time we've met someone using more traditional medium in her art - and turning it into a business!

Needless to say, we were intrigued!

We just had to catch this awesome lady and find out more about her and her work - and of course feature her in our Exhibit series!

Serah Siew

Before starting my own art business, I spent 8 years working as a graphic designer and photographer at an advertising company and a studio. I graduated from In-House Multimedia College at Kuala Lumpur in 2012, specialising in multimedia design. I’m also a food stylist who beautifies yummy cuisine for photo shooting, and an artist who create contemporary art.

As with all of our previous series, we got her to share a bit more about her and how she got started.

We were also lucky enough to get her to do special Wok It artwork!

She requested for us to send over our ingredients for her to work on it.

Surprised as we were, we didn't want to spoil the surprise - so we just waited for the end result.

Lo and behold, she sent us this super awesome art piece that was made using our ingredients.

Yes, actual ingredients and some other ingredients she had lying around her house:

Who Is SERAH?

We got her to share a little bit more about herself and her work...

1. At what age and how did you start drawing/illustrating?

I started drawing when I was 3, inspired by my mom.

2. How would you describe your style?

I love to explore different styles and try something new. Because I have a designer background, I dont like to limit myself.

3. As I understand, you were working for agency before - what made you leave?

I left my firm because I know my job position and my salary can not be higher anymore. So I left to create my own company.

4. What’s the biggest challenge in starting your own?

I have to go out and look for business myself, knocking the door 1 by 1 to find opportunity.

5. Can you remember some of your earliest influences?

Disney movies! Always is my favourite!

6. Which illustrators or designers do you admire the most?

KASHIWA SATO- world renowed designer. I really love the design he created, always make a great impact to the designer community.

8. What is your preferred software/tools to be doing your work?

As a designer, Adobe software is a must.

9. Is there any particular time in the day that you will feel most inspired and how do you deal with that when you have full-time job?

Whenever I go to a coffee shop and smell the caffeine, something inspiring will drift into my mind.

10. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

Always do what you love and enjoy it.

11. What’s your proudest moment as a designer/illustrator so far?

When the decision makers listen to my advices as a designer.

Lulu Digital is an online collaborative platform that is focused on fashion, beauty and lifestyle.

What we like most is that they believe in allowing individuals to have creative freedom and giving them a platform to express themselves.

It really does remind us of our MENU - where we let YOU, the individual decide on what should go in their own meals. 😉 

Founded by the three ever vibrant, enthusiastic and full of energy ladies - Erin, Eira and Qama (100% Girl Squad)

We caught up with them and had them share what their experience has been like since starting out, their vision for their platform and of course, the strong advice for all you women out there..

1. How would you describe yourselves in three words?

  • Different
  • Vibrant

2. How long have you guys known each other and how?

Qama: We've known each other for 3 years..


and we met through our mutual friend, Dale, who also happens to be Erin's boyfriend.

Plus, Erin and Eira has known each other their whole lives - being sisters! 😛 

3. What is your passion and do you find yourself doing what you’re truly passionate about?

Our shared passion is creating content but we each have our own interests:

Erin - Writing & Styling

Qama - Makeup

Eira - Filmmaking


And yes, we do find that we're doing something that the three of us are truly passionate about which is creating content!

4. What inspired you guys to start Lulu?

Qama: We've been wanting to do our own thing for awhile and we've been meeting up and talking about creating content that that our audiences can relate which is fun & colourful.


We also want to give a voice & give a platform for upcoming artists, who we feel are genuinely talented people..


So one night over dinner, we just went "Let's start our own thing! Like why do we have to wait for people to do it?"


So, what inspired us is our vision to create something different that's not really mainstream but still very fun, cute and to not take ourselves too seriously. 


We just want to HAVE FUN and show it to the world!

5. Who is your biggest role model/inspiration?

Eira: My mom because she's very hardworking and she inspires a lot and encourages me to do the things that I love!


Erin: Same, my answer would be my mom! She's so strong and she's very open and receptive our interests and stuff although it's different


Qama: My answer would be my sister. She's the person i look up to the most when I was growing up, she always had the best fashion and she always thought me how to make up. So yeah, she definitely has a strong influence on me growing up. 

6. What is the biggest challenge you’ve come across so far, and how did you handle it?

Eira: Our biggest challenge was finding the people to work with us that have the same vision as us.


It's very hard to find people that believe in what we believe in.


I guess, we're lucky that the three of us share the same vision!

Finding people that shares the same vision - is not easy! 

7. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Qama: In 5 years, we want to see our platform growing and becoming a more established for those who want to create!

We will continue to do what we love and..


And hopefully spread the positive message to more people to follow your passion, and don't let anyone put you down. 


Give it a try, and just do it!

8. What is women empowerment to you?

Eira: To me it means an equal status in society..


Erin: and girls should support each other - no drama!

10. If you’re given the chance to speak to many women, what is the most important message that you want to tell them?

Qama: I would love to say - just follow your heart!

Erin: ..and don't let anyone tell you that you can't do it and don't be afraid to just be you and it's fine to have your own opinion..

At the age of 23, she already has a BA (Hons) Logistics & Supply Chain Management from University of Glamorgan (UK) and an MBA from University of South Wales (UK) to boot!

From initially just helping out Wok It in its early stages, AJ then became a central part of the Wok Squad and the overall management of the business.

With her level of know-how and increasing involvement, it only made sense to have her become an owner of the business to help drive it forward and upwards!

We took the chance to have her share her insights on the challenging world of F&B and her experience of being a female entrepreneur in a largely male-dominated world..

1. How would you describe yourself in three words?

  • Observant
  • Optimistic

2. How did you find yourself doing what you do now?

I started out being just another helping hand, and became more and more involved when Wok It grew and before I knew it...


..here I am - a co-owner of the business itself!

3. With no background in F&B, what made you jump into the challenging F&B industry?

To be honest, I had no specific intention in joining the F&B industry; the interest grew as I got more involved with Wok It..


What made me join Wok It was the vision and idea that my partners brought forth which excited me to the potential of this endeavour.

4. What is it like to be jumping into business - without any prior working experience?

At this point, jumping onto this bandwagon has been the most challenging step that I’ve taken in my life.


Coupled with zero prior working experience, it has made this endeavour doubly hard for me.


For me personally - it was a lot of figuring things out on my own, whether it was in terms of research, being attentive to other F&B business, and of course to be proactive once a possible solution comes to light.

5. Who is your biggest role model/inspiration?

A strong female who does what she loves..


...is damn good at it


..and is always giving back.


Serena Williams is my bada** inspiration.

6. What is the biggest challenge you came across, and how did you handle it?

Figuring out the inner workings of being in the F&B industry as it is is already a challenge. I find myself attending to issues that never crossed my mind as a customer, but felt a complete change being on the other side of the table.


I'm more involved in the Operations side of the business, and the biggest challenge was probably when we grew to two full-fledged outlets plus having a central kitchen function. 


Being a restaurant, managing inventories with many perishable goods and maintaining food quality and consistency can be quite a headache.


I think we've managed to keep it under control by putting the right systems in place - I wouldn't say that we have solved it entirely - as the systems are forever evolving..

7. How do you keep your team, partners motivated and keep moving?

For me it’s by keeping myself motivated and that’s by reminding myself of the end goal that we're trying to achieve with Wok It. 


I feel that by keeping myself motivated, by keeping my energy up it will automatically translate in my actions and that helps keep the people around me equally motivated.

8. What is women empowerment to you?

To summarize, I would say it’s equality for women.


What that means is that women be supported, respected, appreciated and given opportunities equally as is afforded to the opposite gender.

9. What’s your favourite Wok It Box combination and why?

Kway Teow + Kam Heong + Prawns + Beef + Beansprouts + Mushrooms

Although the colour may not convince you, trust me it’s DELICIOUS.


The spiciness of the the kam heong, crunchiness of beansprouts, together with two of my favourites, beef AND prawns..


will always be my go to anytime, any day.

10. If you’re given the chance to speak to many women, what is the most important message that you want to tell them?

As much as this message is for others, it is also something I continue to remind myself daily.


Be brave and be kind.


In this world where most fields are mainly male-dominated, we need to be brave enough to stand up and be part of the game.


If we are not given the opportunity, let us be brave and create our own opportunity. With that in mind, we should never forget to be kind, to others, and most importantly to be kind to ourselves.

After graduating with a degree in Journalism and..

..with no working experience, she jumped straight into the world of being an entrepreneur and in the challenging F&B industry too..

While Mia wasn't one of the actual Founders of Wok It but she has been with Wok It from the beginning!

Similarly to AJ, Mia started out just helping out the boys at Wok It and grew together with it.

Mia now handles Operations together with AJ and also all the HR functions of the company.

We caught up with her and got her to share what her journey has been like as a female entrepreneur..as a female leader and what inspires her to keep moving forward!

1. How would you describe yourself in three words?

  • Funny
  • Organized

2. How did you find yourself doing what you do now?

I have never thought that I would be a business owner but weirdly enough, Wok It has been a dream come true for me..


I started out helping the two co-founders, Ashraf and Meor, when Wok It was just a pop-up. That was how the journey began.


Three years later, who knew that I would know I'm a co-owner of Wok It and it is now operating in two outlets..


..and I am proud of what it has achieved today.

3. With no background in F&B, what made you jump into the challenging F&B industry?

I believe that it was an interesting career move for me.

4. What is it like to be jumping into business - without any prior working experience?

Interesting and challenging at the same time. It was a whole new space for me to discover and attain knowledge.


It has given me the chance to embrace the world of the unknown.

5. Who is your biggest role model/inspiration?

My mother.


She has shown me that with great determination and hard work..


..anything is possible.

6. What is the biggest challenge you came across, and how did you handle it?

My biggest challenge was managing people and human behavior. 

At first, it was hard for me to confront and handle conflicts in the work place. Especially with no prior working experience..

However, reading and doing research on human interaction has helped me overcome these issues. 

Attending HR talks and watching videos have also helped me..

Learning from the insights shared by others on their own experiences..has also made me better prepared when the problem occurs or alternatively prevent it from  even happening. 

7. How do you keep your team, partners motivated and keep moving?

I am truly blessed to have a team, the Wok Squad behind me.


Plus, my partners are smart and wonderful individuals.


I believe that bringing great attitude and positive vibes will..


fill the room with motivation and determination to strive for the best.

8. What is women empowerment to you?

I truly believe that every woman on this planet deserves equality regardless of what career path they choose.


We deserve every chance and opportunity in this world to pursue and achieve our dreams.

9. What’s your favourite Wok It Box combination and why?

Laksa + Tom Yum + Beef + Carrots + Mushrooms

This combination gives a burst of texture and is rich in flavour.


The chewiness of the Laksa Noodles..


..the crunchiness of the carrots, juicy beef, the earthy taste of mushrooms..


..and the kick of sourness and spice of the Tom Yum sauce is what my tummy loves the most!

10. If you’re given the chance to speak to many women, what is the most important message that you want to tell them?

Believe in yourself, because with great courage, brings great determination.

Fun Fact: The Chinese have known the benefits of bean sprouts for centuries. Nobles in ancient China ate them for rejuvenation and healing.

Beans were also brought along on long sea voyages, where they were sprouted and eaten while at sea, to prevent scurvy.. (source)

A quick rundown of what we're most known for with our menu - our customizable Wok It boxes.

With over 2,000 possible combinations, that's a lot of data to go through but we enjoy it - it feels like we're reading your minds! 🤩

New Year, New Collaboration!

In this third edition of our Wok It Exhibit series, we bring you - Darrel Cheong or better known as Ninjamuffeen.

While he may be a graphic designer, he also wears many hats in the startup he's currently working at PLUS having his own side-hustle of a collaborated brand called Kamaboko!

Darrel Cheong a.k.a. Ninjamuffeen is a graphic designer with an interest in illustration. He's been in the field of advertising since 2014 and started a collaborated brand back in 2016 to put his knowledge intro practice.

We first came across Ninjamuffeen's work on Instagram (where else right?) 

and we absolutely loved his style..

Here's a few that caught our eye..

His interest in Anime clearly shows in his work..but one thing we always love is how an artist takes in all his influences and then make it his own..

We can totally relate, as that's what we do with the food we serve too..

As the stars align, here's what he came up with for our collaboration:

Who Is Ninjamuffeen?

We got him to share a little bit more about himself and his work..

1. Why the name Ninjamuffeen?

Ninjamuffeen was just a name I came up with back in university.

I had a pretty bad obsession over ninjas thanks to anime.

Muffeen was just supposed to be muffin because I am fat.

2. At what age and how did you start drawing/illustrating?

For as long as I can remember, my father can draw pretty well, he was the one that encouraged me to draw and colour.

3. How would you describe your style?

I don’t think I have a particular style, but i tend to make my artworks clean and cute.

4. Can you remember some of your earliest influences?

Definitely Anime. I remember watching “Flame of Recca” back in the day on “Mega TV”.

I did not even know those cartoons were called Anime then.

5. Which illustrators or designers do you admire the most?

There are so many, but my top three will be Joshua M Smith (@hydrosevenfour) , Benny Gold (@bennygold), Bobby Hundreds (@thehundreds).

6. How much attention do you pay to the feedback of others on your work?

Audience’s opinion does matter to me, especially when it comes to the collaborated brand (@kamabokoofficial).

We always do our best to keep the experience between us and our audience at it’s peak.

7. What is your preferred software/tools to be doing your work?

Adobe illustrator will always be my go to software.

I sometimes work on Photoshop as well but that happens more often on my day job.

8. Is there any particular time in the day that you will feel most inspired and how do you deal with that when you have full-time job?

I will usually write down or do a quick doodle paper even at work. As for dealing with full time job, make time.

I believe anyone in the field of advertising will know that staying back at work is very common. Working on your dream bit by bit is better than not working on it at all.

9. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

“Keep your head up, and you will do fine.”

That line was given to me by my first employer when he let me go. Hit me right at the heart but it was one of the advices I carry till today.

10. What’s your proudest moment as designer/illustrator so far?

Getting recognized by others while booth-ing in events. It was pretty surreal to know that we actually have followers.

11. 2018 is almost over, any plans already for 2019?

I will be looking to push Kamaboko (@kamabokoofficial) further in 2019, from our previous experience, we feel that it has potential to grow further; it just needs more love and care.

I'm 23 this year and I graduated from Taylors University. I started doing freelance as a designer about 3 years ago during uni, and since then I've worked full-time with a F&B and cosmetics company.

We first knew about Pijures when we stumbled upon her "Send Noods" illustration on Instagram.

C'mon..how can we, Wok It, not relate to that?

Then we saw her profile and just fell in love with..it's witty, clean and slightly edgy. We were in love!

As it turns out, she's also friends with Levi (who was our first Exhibit feature).

So, we got them together and talked about doing a collaboration together..

Who Is PIJURES?

We got her to share a little bit more about herself and her work...

1. Why the name Pijures?

'Pijures' is actually a pun for 'pictures' because my nickname is Pij.

Pij is short for pigeon, my spirit animal.

Pij-eon: Spirit Animal

2. At what age and how did you start drawing/illustrating?

I would say when I was in kindergarten, I really loved drawing more than writing.

My childhood hobby was drawing hundreds of comic strips and each panel was the size of an A4 paper. They weren't nicely drawn at all, I just wanted to create really funny and dramatic stories.

3. How would you describe your style?

It's a mix of witty, comical, contemporary, inky, grungy kinda stuff.

4. Can you remember some of your earliest influences?

A lot of Disney animated movies. I still collect DVDs of them.

I'd watch it over and over again as a kid and use it as a reference to draw characters and perspectives.

5. Which illustrators or designers do you admire the most?

I really love Cole Ott (@coleott) and Kurzgesagt’s design team (@kurzgesagt).

Cole Ott's work is just amazing and surreal, especially his animation. Kurzgesagt on the other hand does flat designs with the most satisfying colour palettes.

We love Cole Ott's work too!

6. How much attention do you pay to the feedback of others on your work?

I always ask for feedback before posting something on IG because sometimes my brain will play tricks on me and ask me to accept the work as it is and move on already.

Design and art is pretty subjective and everyone has their own taste and style that they like, but I still love to hear what other people think.

7. What is your preferred software/tools to be doing your work?

Ever since my Wacom tablet broke, I have been using Procreate on my iPad to do my illustrations.

Procreate has pretty much all I need when it comes to illustrating, it's basically like pen and paper but digital.

8. Is there any particular time in the day that you will feel most inspired and how do you deal with that when you have full-time job?

Ideas just come and go throughout the day for me especially when I'm alone and blasting music in my ears.

But if I do get an idea or inspiration at work I would just have to wait anxiously until i get home to draw it. 

I've drawn while driving before. Don't do that.

9. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

I was reading an interview of an illustrator based in NY named Jennet Liaw and she told illustrators and designers to “Put in those unseen hours.”

Those words stuck in my head ever since and it has motivated me to create more for myself and keep that creative juice flowing no matter how busy I am.

10. What’s your proudest moment as designer/illustrator so far?

Oh man I can't decide.

There was this pretty big mural I did last year but the best yet would have to be this logo I designed back in my uni days which was printed on an aircraft. It's insanely huge.

It was for an aviation firm based in Australia and I thought "nah they'll never really use it", until I was sent a video of it already printed on.

Though there’s quite a lot I’d change about it because I was an amateur, but still it’s really cool to know that someone has so much confidence in my work.

We'd be stoked to see our work on a plane too!

It's been awhile since we last shared the stats and analysis of your orders - or any other updates on the blog, really. 

We've been getting a lot comments from customers saying that they had enjoyed what we shared on the blog and kept on asking us to revive it. So here we are - reviving it from the dead!

Funny how it's always you guys that keeps pushing us to do what we do. So, keep at it - keeps us on our toes.

Anyway, I disgress - this post is about breaking down what you guys ordered in the month of October 2018 and our take on it!

As you know, we serve customizable stir-fries where we let you choose the four main ingredients - Carbs, Proteins, Vegetables and our very own delicious unique sauces. With that, there's over 2,000 possible combinations that you could actually make!

Here's What You Ordered in October 2018..

Let's start with the sauces - the one that truly makes us a unique!

The reigning champion still remains with our Salted Egg sauce!


It's been the favourite since we first introduced it (back when we were still a pop-up!) to this day.


But of course, there's been a lot iterations to the recipe based on all your feedback. 

#1 Best Seller - Salted Egg!

The second most popular used to be Mango Sweet Chilli, which has now been overtaken by Kam Heong.


The top 3 sauces collectively make up 71% of the total orders.

Laksa (10%)

It's official - we Malaysians LOVE our rice! More than half (57% to be exact) of your orders were either White or Brown rice.

What's particularly interesting is the difference in choice when it comes to Noodles between our Subang and Bangsar outlets.

As you can see, Yellow Noodles is more popular in Bangsar with Kway Teow coming in second at 12%.


While Kway Teow is more popular in Subang at 19% and Yellow Noodles came in second with 12%.


From our observation, our Subang outlet serves more locals, while our Bangsar outlet serves a more international demographics - which seem to prefer Yellow Noodles.

No surprises here, Chicken has always been the most popular ever since we started and to be honest, the standings has not changed at all.

What's different from any of our past analysis is that we've now added Tofu to the menu. This is to cater for the vegetarians, as well as the more health conscious eaters.


We're quite surprised to see Tofu made up of 4% of the total orders.

Similarly to Proteins, the rankings of our Vegetable options has not changed much. Broccoli and Mushrooms has always been the two top two choices.


The type of Mushrooms we currently use is the Oyster Mushroom.  

Health Fact: Oyster mushrooms have been found to have a relaxation effect on the smooth muscle of the arterial walls, thus effectively lowering blood pressure. (source)
